One dog using the bowl: Assign the bowl to a specific dog and every use of the Food & Water Bowls will be recorded in their account -no matter if the dog wears the Tracker or not. Everything eaten from the bowl is credited to a selected dog’s profile. This is the best choice in a single dog household. Consumption data is automatically synced once every hour.
Multiple dogs using the bowl: the bowls continuously scan a nearby Trackers and record consumed amount to the closest dog. To credit the food or water intake to the right dog, dogs have to wear the Trackers all the time. Otherwise, the bowls can’t detect any Trackers/dogs in their surroundings and can’t credit consumption to any account.
Tip: A function of dog recognition in multi-dog households is in development, but you can already beta test it. Please note that if dogs have their bowls close to each other or use one bowl at the same time, an inaccurate crediting of the consumed amount to a wrong account may occur. It’s best to assign each dog their bowl to avoid it and get the most accurate data on food & water intake.
